After you have finished with the HCG diet core phase and no longer take your drops, you finally have more choice and basically can enjoy any food. Still you diet is not over and it also means you have to be careful with what you choose.
You still avoid starches and sugar, but still you will be relieved to know you are allowed way too much to choose from compared to that very strict 500-calorie level.
Forget that lean beef, chicken breast or white fish, now you can celebrate properly, and your Phase 3 HCG diet food list should be significantly longer.
Your HCG Phase 3 recipes may include plenty of proteins, and that of course means more meat. In some cases even American beef might be an option, yet the general advice is to be careful about meat with too much fat.
Your meals may include pork chops, veal, bacon, ham, lean beef, lamb, elk, liver, breakfast sausages, Vienna sausage, prosciutto, venison.
That’s something giving you a very wide range of choices. With so many kinds of fish available it might be difficult to choose from, nut the most popular types of fish and sea-foods include sardines, tuna, salmon, herring, bass, catfish, trout, flounder, eel, clams, oysters, mussels, squid and calamari.
Poultry and Fowl
If you don’t fancy fish your Phase 3 HCG recipes may well include poultry and fowl dishes. If Phase 2 assumes you limit yourself to chicken only, now you are allowed to eat duck, goose, turkey, Cornish hen, pheasant and quail.
Other protein sources the HCG p3 recipes can include all types of nuts: peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts, cashews, pine nuts and pistachios. Hummus, soy and tofu products are allowed as well, but you still have to limit beans and legumes since they contain a lot of starch.
The principal 500-calorie phase of the HCG diet limits you to quite a short list of products you are allowed to eat. This is due to the wrong choice food in combination with oral HCG drops preventing you from losing weight quickly. You have very few vegetables and fruits (in fact, only four fruits) on the list, and you are allowed to have a mere tablespoon of milk per day.
Getting though this strict Phase 2 means you have more freedom when it comes to food selection. At Phase 3, also known as stabilization phase, you are allowed to eat meat and fish, plenty of vegetables, and the only things you have to remember to avoid are sugar and starch.
The HCG diet Phase 3 food list may also include fruit, though, according to Dr. Simeon, dieters better be wary of very sweet fruits.
To help you choose from what you want to include into your Phase 3 HCG recipes, below are some examples of food what you are ALLOWED to eat.
Despite being offered much more freedom, dieters have to remember that certain vegetables, primarily potatoes, corn and peas, contain lots of starch, therefore are not recommended. The good news is there is still plenty to choose from, and the list is quite extensive.
Your diet recipes may well include cauliflower, broccoli, kohlrabi, green beans, bean sprouts, Brussels sprouts, pumpkins, eggplant, radishes, summer squash, turnips, sweet bell peppers (green, red, or yellow), red chili pepper, zucchini and mushrooms.

Otherwise you will be happy to know that from now on you are allowed to include butter, practically all sorts of cheese, eggs ( fried, boiled, scrambled, poached or whatever), milk and sugar-free yogurts.
You have a number of other options for your HCG Phase 3 food list, and those allow sugar free fruit juices, mayonnaise (check for sugar), cooking or baking oils, peanut butter or other nut butters (if sugar-free).
Some alcoholic beverages, like a glass of wine, are ok too.
